Each work we create is a unique piece, born from an ancient photographic technique that combines chemical precision with artistic sensitivity : the Platinotype also known as Platinum printing. We manually apply drops of a photosensitive Platinum blend tailored to each image on an delicate vellum paper
Creation of the digital negative
We transform your photograph into a digital negative, the perfect basis to start the process.
Application of a photosensitive emulsion
We do exposure tests and, after perfect calibration, let the UV light reveal the magic.
We dip the paper in sodium citrate-a food additive that acts as a natural developer- That creates an elegant black and white Photograph. Different baths remove all traces other than pure platinum.
UV light exposure
After drying, we add on the back authentic 24 carat gold or silver foil, elevating the work to an exclusive level of luxury.
Once dry, the work is mounted on an acid-free paper that protects the print from the passage of time.
